Community Service & Social Responsibility

Service to the community. For H.E. Vanrath, leadership is a responsibility – not a privilege. He maintains that those in public roles should contribute positively beyond their official duties. This means engaging in community service and exemplifying social responsibility. He has instilled a culture of volunteerism and charity in his personal and professional circles, most visibly through his Riders for Charity initiative. By organizing charitable activities and promoting responsible behavior (like safe driving), he demonstrates that caring for one’s community is an integral part of a life of service. Social responsibility, in his view, extends from the courtroom to the streets – improving lives wherever possible.
