H.E. Phann Vanrath is Deputy Prosecutor General of Cambodia. He oversees international cooperation and lectures in Cambodia and abroad. He earned his Bachelor of Law (France + Cambodia, 2001) and Master of Law (PUC, 2008) and is completing his Doctor of Law next year. He also founded "Riders for Charity."
H.E. Phann Vanrath serves as Deputy Prosecutor General to the Supreme Court of Cambodia. With nearly twenty years of experience — including prior roles as Judge in Battambang and Chief Prosecutor in Banteay Meanchey — he brings broad prosecutorial insight. He earned his Bachelor of Law in both France and Cambodia (2001) and his Master of Law (LL.M) from Paññāsāstra University (2008). He is currently completing his Doctor of Law (LL.D) next year. He lectures in Cambodia and abroad and is a recipient of the Royal Order of Cambodia (national merit medal). Beyond his legal duties, he also serves as First Vice President of the Cambodia ITF Taekwon-Do Federation, supporting youth development through sports. He is the founder of "Riders for Charity."
H.E. Phann Vanrath is the Deputy Prosecutor General of the General ProsecuIon Office to the Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He contributes to naIonal prosecutorial strategy and high-priority case oversight, and leads internaIonal cooperaIon efforts connecIng Cambodia’s prosecutorial system with foreign counterparts to combat crime across borders. He served as Judge in Bajambang and later as Chief Prosecutor in Banteay Meanchey before being elevated to the Supreme Court level. He earned his Bachelor of Law in both France and Cambodia in 2001 and his Master of Law (LL.M) in 2008. He is currently compleIng his Doctor of Law (LL.D) with research focused on the role of prosecutors in strengthening public confidence in the Cambodian Criminal Justice System — planned for compleIon next year. He has contributed to legal scholarship including authoring a chapter in Introduc1on to Cambodian Law (2012). He is a recipient of the Royal Order of Cambodia (naIonal merit medal). He frequently lectures in Cambodia and abroad on prosecuIon, cross-border cooperaIon, ethics, cybercrime, and public trust. In addiIon to his judicial and academic contribuIons, H.E. Vanrath also serves as First Vice President of the Cambodia ITF Taekwon-Do FederaIon, where he has supported the development of Taekwon-Do in Cambodia for more than a decade through sponsorships, programme contribuIons, and youth sports empowerment. This reflects his belief that disciplined sport shapes responsible ciIzens.
